No Portfolio, but a Wicked Awesome Writer

I don’t have a portfolio so it’s confusing to me to be able to prove my writing abilities. I am a natural linguist, playful poet, and deep diver of storytelling. I’m not sure how to prove it without having something documented on a website with reviews or client that I worked for something like that. I can come up with almost anything off the top of my head, but proving my strength as a writer proves difficult. Any help would be great. Thank you so much!

I imagine it is, simply because we're social distancing, and doing freelance work online is probably the best thing you can do until things clear up. I personally feel this pandemic is going to last another year or more. This is why it's probably a good idea to look into freelance work, as you can do it from the comfort of your home.
